[Aside from romantic drama and dealing with the cycle of friends coming and going, it's been a quiet few months for Kurt. Well, that plus helping out at the coffee house and item shop and the night club. And he's had his training with swords, which has led him to make this announcement.]

Hey guys, would anyone be up for joining me for the coolest Battle Dome simulation there ever was? You'll get to be part of my pirate crew and there'll be a battle and everything! Just come on over around... I guess 4 would be good? And get ready to serve the Dread Pirate Wagner!

[He was inspired to make the sim by a cyborg pirate simulation that Deadpool dreamed up. But Kurt has a love for the classics, so he's decided to stick to normal pirates for his own activity. This will only be part training... and part spontaneous giant game of pretend.]

[It's easy enough to tell which room Kurt has claimed just from looking through the observation deck. Stepping into the room, one will find themselves on the deck of a large ship. Kurt should be waiting somewhere nearby. Since he made an open invitation and doesn't want to scare off strangers, his image inducer is on; so he'll resemble a normal human teen, but dressed up in a pirate-y get up, complete with a poofy shirt and a big hat, plus two swords in hand. And a simulated parrot!

Kurt waits to sort anyone who shows up into a role on the ship while waiting for the enemy pirates of Redbeard to attack. People can even stroll in late - when the chaos has already begun!]

[ooc: I would like to encourage threadjacking around the Battle Dome segment as long as respective taggers are okay with it! Whenever Kurt's assigned a role to a character, they can then feel free to jack into other threads!]

[There's not much else to do during the day when she's stuck indoors in the dark of her room - other than check the journals for anything interest. Imagine Perona's surprise when she comes across this entry. Pirates? Oho, that surely is something to catch her attention...though she hasn't been part of a crew in forever. Can that strange metal dome actually simulate an actual ocean? She hasn't been on the sea in so long...

Might as well chance going out for a spell. Will artificial light harm her? Mmm...she'll dress appropriately, and bring her parasol, just in case. She's fought while holding it before.]

Dread Pirate Wagner? Horohorohoro...that's quite the title. Can you really live up to it?

[Now that voice sounds familiar. Isn't she that girl who admired his true form back at Malnosso World? And here he is in his disguised form, wondering whether or not she recognizes him.

He's nervous for a moment and tries to be smooth.]

What kind of a Dread Pirate would I be if I couldn't? I'll have you know... that I'm the terror of the simulated seas!

What kind of battle are we talking about here, or is it supposed'ta be a secret?

I kind of want to keep the element of surprise. You know, it'll be really cool! But I guess you shouldn't expect too much of a difference from your normal fight against mangy sea dogs!

[ Still without real access to his journal, Rin ran into this whole situation more by chance than anything. Waiting for a room, he came across it in the observation deck, it looked sort of cool, and after that he barged on into the room. And onto a ship ]

Ahoy, Mr. Rin! [Kurt smirks as he turns to face him.] A pirate's life, that's what's going on!

[For a cute guy, he can be her captain anytime. Sometime later Minako made her way to the simulation room. Up high on one of the sails, someone would be able to spot a silhouette figure of a young girl. The only thing outlining this figure was the shine of the sun. The sun even shimmered some locks of her hair as she held her sword up high just over her head. Who could this person be?]

[Kurt squints and looks up towards the mysterious figure. When did she get in here.]

[Oh, who is he kidding. As soon as Kurt said "Battle Dome," he was in.]

[But this is going to be a fun Battle Dome thing!!! Not Serious Business, Scott.]

Don't worry, you're safe. You don't need an eyepatch to be One-Eyed Willy, after all. [The Goonies was likely another of the pieces of American media that Kurt fell in love with.] Maybe a peg leg or a hook hand would be more fetching...

...So basically you're running a big game of pretend pirates?

[Jean had been planning on a simple Battle Dome work out; maybe a bit of basketball, again. Seeing Kurt disappearing into one of the other rooms, dressed all sorts of up, though, piques her interest, and she heads after him.]

Hey, Kurt!

[She is careful to observe before stepping fully into the simulation, to make sure she's not jumping into something overtly dangerous, or putting Kurt in any sort of danger by distracting him.]

What on Earth? [She is confused, but smiling.]
