[Aside from romantic drama and dealing with the cycle of friends coming and going, it's been a quiet few months for Kurt. Well, that plus helping out at the coffee house and item shop and the night club. And he's had his training with swords, which has led him to make this announcement.]

Hey guys, would anyone be up for joining me for the coolest Battle Dome simulation there ever was? You'll get to be part of my pirate crew and there'll be a battle and everything! Just come on over around... I guess 4 would be good? And get ready to serve the Dread Pirate Wagner!

[He was inspired to make the sim by a cyborg pirate simulation that Deadpool dreamed up. But Kurt has a love for the classics, so he's decided to stick to normal pirates for his own activity. This will only be part training... and part spontaneous giant game of pretend.]

[It's easy enough to tell which room Kurt has claimed just from looking through the observation deck. Stepping into the room, one will find themselves on the deck of a large ship. Kurt should be waiting somewhere nearby. Since he made an open invitation and doesn't want to scare off strangers, his image inducer is on; so he'll resemble a normal human teen, but dressed up in a pirate-y get up, complete with a poofy shirt and a big hat, plus two swords in hand. And a simulated parrot!

Kurt waits to sort anyone who shows up into a role on the ship while waiting for the enemy pirates of Redbeard to attack. People can even stroll in late - when the chaos has already begun!]

[ooc: I would like to encourage threadjacking around the Battle Dome segment as long as respective taggers are okay with it! Whenever Kurt's assigned a role to a character, they can then feel free to jack into other threads!]

Are we all supposed to show up dressed like pirates, or are pirate clothes going to be programmed into the simulation?

I don't know how to make the clothes automatically appear on people, if that's what you mean. There's some programmed clothes inside the ship, or you can bring your own!

Sounds good. I'll just wear some black leggings and a camisole so I can slip on a pirate costume overtop easily.

[Bulla flies over, and she's got an oversized sweater on over a black tank top and leggings, so she can easily shed the sweater and don something more fitting for the training exercise. When she touches down on the ground and walks into the main entrance to the Battle Dome, she looks around for Kurt.]

Kurt? Which room are you in?

[Kurt manages to poke his head out of the door soon enough, checking for any newcomers - and sure enough he finds her, beckoning her over excitedly.]

Ahoy! Over here!

Ahoy, matey!

[Bulla's not very good at this whole pirate talk thing, but she can certainly try. It seems like it'll be fun.]

Where's the pirate clothing for me to change into?

You mean you're not aiming to be the fierce Sweater Pirate? [He says jokingly as he leads her onto the deck of the simulated ship.] You'll find them over in the cabin.

Actually, I was thinking I could be the Fierce Fashionista, the most stylish to sail the seven seas.

[If he's going to suggest titles...]

Whoa! You really have that one figured out already. But can you earn it?

Just wait and see.

[Bulla pulls off her sweater and goes to look through the available pirate gear, eventually assembling an outfit over her black leggings and camisole. She emerges a minute later.]

Ta da~ So, have I earned my title?

[Now that's stunning! He takes a moment to look it over and is definitely impressed. Two thumbs up!]

Yeah... You've got that down! Welcome to the crew!

Great! So, how many people are you expecting to show up for this, anyway?

[She's wondering how many other crew members she already knows.]
