[Aside from romantic drama and dealing with the cycle of friends coming and going, it's been a quiet few months for Kurt. Well, that plus helping out at the coffee house and item shop and the night club. And he's had his training with swords, which has led him to make this announcement.]

Hey guys, would anyone be up for joining me for the coolest Battle Dome simulation there ever was? You'll get to be part of my pirate crew and there'll be a battle and everything! Just come on over around... I guess 4 would be good? And get ready to serve the Dread Pirate Wagner!

[He was inspired to make the sim by a cyborg pirate simulation that Deadpool dreamed up. But Kurt has a love for the classics, so he's decided to stick to normal pirates for his own activity. This will only be part training... and part spontaneous giant game of pretend.]

[It's easy enough to tell which room Kurt has claimed just from looking through the observation deck. Stepping into the room, one will find themselves on the deck of a large ship. Kurt should be waiting somewhere nearby. Since he made an open invitation and doesn't want to scare off strangers, his image inducer is on; so he'll resemble a normal human teen, but dressed up in a pirate-y get up, complete with a poofy shirt and a big hat, plus two swords in hand. And a simulated parrot!

Kurt waits to sort anyone who shows up into a role on the ship while waiting for the enemy pirates of Redbeard to attack. People can even stroll in late - when the chaos has already begun!]

[ooc: I would like to encourage threadjacking around the Battle Dome segment as long as respective taggers are okay with it! Whenever Kurt's assigned a role to a character, they can then feel free to jack into other threads!]

[Ah...even if it is fake, Perona's taken aback slightly by the feel of being back on a ship in what feels like forever. She breathes in the salty breeze she's missed and sighs pleasantly, looking up and around herself to get her full bearing and observe the ship she found herself on. Knowing the environment (or just the type of ship) is a wise move for a pirate and a wise tactical move overall. Perona's a strategist, she's never been one to dive into battle without a plan...even if she has to make one up on the fly.

Of course when she gets a good look at the captain, all her thoughts are drowned out by the force of her laughter. IS HE REALLY SERIOUS?!]

Oh...fft--horohorohoro! You...y-you're not really going to fight in that, are you?! [Her shoulders shake, and her knees buckle as she laughs and laughs, and Perona has to lean her weight on her knees, wiping at her face.] Horohoro...ah...m-my makeup's going to be ruined...! I-I can't stop....!

[That's definitely that girl alright. And he gapes at her display of laughter, quickly frustrated.]

Hey! What's so bad about this? This is, like, the most totally radical pirate get-up there is!

[Oh my god, he actually thinks his insane dress is fashionable. Perona covers her mouth with her hand, trying to smother her laughter. Poor thing...poor, poor fool. He must only know about pirates from those inane storybooks written decades ago about them. That garb may have been acceptable in the early days of piracy, but...]

Perhaps a century ago! Horohorohoro, have you never met an actual pirate before? [She snickers, wiping at the corners of her eyes.] The only attention you'll gather with those clothes, Mr. Dread Pirate, is that of an entire navy fleet. ...Or a rival pirate crew.
