First Bamf [Action/Accidental Video]
[Action/Accidental Video]
[So Kurt intially wakes up near the southern lake - in an immediate panic at the lack of clothes, even his uniform, or his image inducer. He only sees the book nearby. Curiously, he winds up peering into it and musing into it, unaware that it's recording this snippet.]
Doesn't look at all like the bayou... Where did they go? [He looks down into the book.] And where did this book come from? My name's on it. A gift from the Professor? Something about this book seems really weird... But I should try to find the others first.
[And so... this blue, fuzz demon will be teleporting around in acrid puffs of smoke, trying to stick to treetops and following the river towards the village. Every now and then, he stops just to take another look at the book. There's got to be something he's missing. And are those voices he hears from this weird book?
And as he arrives at the village, he may wind up accidentally teleporting into one of several houses. Something just seems a little off about his power here, you know? Hope this blue demon-looking guy doesn't catch you off-guard, with the dramatic smoke puffs that follow him. He could even wind up in the item or clothing shop before meeting anyone he knows.]

Fifth floor, huh? [And a mischievous grin.] Which window's yours?
[action]
Mine's on the other side of the building, but the kitchen's right at the front- [He points up, gesturing to the windows on the side of the building nearest to them.] There's a door to my apartment we can use there.
[action]
Yeah, yeah, doors are nice and all. But what about a shortcut that's fun and cool? If I can get myself to pull it off that is. Do you lock your windows?
[action]
Not really... why?
[Though considering his track record with Robin, maybe he should consider doing so. As a precaution.]
[action]
[He flashes another grin as he BAMFs away in a puff of smoke. He shows up right by the window, quickly scrambling to get a hold on the windowsill, then he climbs along the wall to above the window and pulls it open.
One BAMF later, and he's at Billy's side with a fresher cloud of smoke.]
So, how about it? Ready for a trip?
[action]
O-oh wow- oh my god- yes, yes, absolutely!
[eeeeeeeee he's gonna go BAMFing omg]
[action]
Alright, alright. Just excuse me for taking a hold of you. I'll be careful.
[And with a hold on Billy's arm... the bamfing will commence. And in a blink of the eye, they'll be passing through the window, straight into the said kitchen.]
[action]
Billy is, for a moment, speechless- which for him, is very unusual. Kurt's teleportation is different from his own, and not just because of the smoke, either. He can't quite put his finger on the difference, though, just that it exists. Perhaps the biggest difference of all is the fact that when he's not controlling it, he feels a hell of a lot less stable, so he leans back against the counter for a moment, eyes startled wide.]
Oh my god. Oh, my god. Is that not the coolest thing ever.
[Now he just needs to keep himself from throwing up.]

It's a pretty convenient power, isn't? The ability to go wherever you want so quickly.
[He loves teleporting and is plenty used to it, sure, but he's never seen it done so fast. There's no way he could ever match that kind of speed with his magic.]
[action]
Yeah, it is! Next to it, walking's just such a hassle.
[action]
[Billy's grinning a bit as he unlocks the door and leads the way into the apartment- it's a bit different than most, after all the modifications he's made: a double-sized area with a mini kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom on one side, and a long rec room-esque area on the other, painted and decorated with bright colours and care, but still as whimsical and disorganized as one might expect from a home for normal teenage boys and zero adults. Not that they're normal in any way whatsoever, but they can sort of pretend sometimes.]
[action]
[He's not sure if he means he can fly or knows someone who dies. But he quickly admires the room.]
Wow, nice place!
[action]
Heh, thanks. And I do fly. Kinda often, actually. It's like your teleporting, for me.
[action]
You do fly, huh? Is that your, uh... you know, power?
[action]
[This is what he loves about mutants or kids with powers in general- he can say that kind of stuff nonchalantly and they just get it, because they can all do cool stuff, too.
It's pretty awesome.]
[action]
[action]
You wanna see it?
[action]
Yeah, yeah! [And he tries the best impression he can manage of a certain video game character he can recall.] Show me your movements! [One that... isn't very good at all.]
[action]
He lifts his hands, a blue glow flaring around them as well as from within his eyes, and after a moment's focus, a t-shirt with a trollface on the front materializes in his hands. Ta-daaa~]
How's that?
[action]
That's amazing! You just made that out of thin air. You could get your own clothing line started up pronto!
