[Action/Accidental Video]
[So Kurt intially wakes up near the southern lake - in an immediate panic at the lack of clothes, even his uniform, or his image inducer. He only sees the book nearby. Curiously, he winds up peering into it and musing into it, unaware that it's recording this snippet.]
Doesn't look at all like the bayou... Where did they go? [He looks down into the book.] And where did this book come from? My name's on it. A gift from the Professor? Something about this book seems really weird... But I should try to find the others first.
[And so... this blue, fuzz demon will be teleporting around in acrid puffs of smoke, trying to stick to treetops and following the river towards the village. Every now and then, he stops just to take another look at the book. There's got to be something he's missing. And are those voices he hears from this weird book?
And as he arrives at the village, he may wind up accidentally teleporting into one of several houses. Something just seems a little off about his power here, you know? Hope this blue demon-looking guy doesn't catch you off-guard, with the dramatic smoke puffs that follow him. He could even wind up in the item or clothing shop before meeting anyone he knows.]

[And into the shop she goes. Coming?]
[ action ]
[He gives a small tug at his fuzz, but as they enter the shop he's careful to be alert of anyone nearby, ready to duck or teleport out of sight.]
[ action ]
Men's section's over there. See what you can find.
[ action ]
Will do!
[And then he scampers along, beginning to rifle through the men's clothing. Some of them look oddly familiar. There's a baggy pair of pants with a distinctive ketchup stain. And oh, the fabled boxer shorts.]
They've really got a good selection here! If I could find my image inducer, I could be pretty much set.
[ action ]
[So much to talk about, how does she even start?]
[ action ]
[He takes another look around to make sure the place is still empty before bamfing over to the dressing room. He'll only be in there long enough to set up his pants and boxer shorts.]
[ action ]
[...]
Kurt?
[ action ]
[He says with some uncertainy as he step out with a shirt in hand, boxer shorts sticking out from his pants.]

Like... people leave. An' then come back. An' sometimes they don't remember bein' here at all.
[ action ]
Rogue... What are you trying to say?

[She feels somewhat miserable about this and so apologizes again.]
I'm sorry, Kurt, that's - just the way it is.

[Kurt turns his attention back to Rogue again, taking in the differences. And he gives a bitter chuckle.]
To think, after all that trouble we went through to find you... In a way, you still got to leave us all, anyway.
[ action ]
No, Kurt.
[She took a half-step forward and stopped awkwardly.]
You comin' ta find me changed everything. [She swallowed hard.] I don't know... where we go from here. When you were here before you... hadn't found me yet. But... [Nervous. So nervous. He could turn her aside now and she would deserve it.] We found a way ta be... be family here. You're my brother, Kurt.
[It wasn't the first time she'd said it to him. But he'd forgotten that now, forgotten how long it had taken and what it meant to them then. But maybe... maybe it would still mean something to him now.]
[ action ]
I was waiting to talk to you, Rogue. When we were leaving the bayou. I wanted to make sure that... that we really had found you. Before all that happened with Gambit, I thought you really were lost. It wasn't until you talked about leaving, and then you disappeared, that I realized... I could still lose you more. [And hearing about his previous stay here, how he could have treated her... It must have hurt.] So I'd be a horrible brother if I gave up then. And maybe I was, for having already given up before that.
That's why I wanted to ask you a question. But... [He looks down and takes a hesitant step closer - reaching for her shoulders or whichever parts of her arms were covered.] I think you just answered it. [He hesitates for another moment, as if making sure it felt right to add on.] It's... it's really good to see you again. [Another pause of consideration, before he almost breathes the last word, with a degree of uncertainty.] Sis.
[ action ]
Yeah. [She smiles a him, a little wobbly herself.] You too.
[So, so carefully, Rogue moved to give Kurt a hug.]
[ action ]
Kurt was always the sensitive one, the one quickest to give hugs. And there he was, stunned and confused as his sister wrapped her arms around him. All he hoped for since he found out about their connection... could he really have found it? Was this really it, after everything that had happened with the person connecting them? Of all the closeness he could have hoped for, this had always seemed... out of reach.
He keeps his arms spread out up in the air as if being searched by a cop for just a few moments. But he then slowly lowered each arm around Rogue and held her, really held her, for the first time. And closed his eyes to appreciate it. His family.]
