First Bamf [Action/Accidental Video]
[Action/Accidental Video]
[So Kurt intially wakes up near the southern lake - in an immediate panic at the lack of clothes, even his uniform, or his image inducer. He only sees the book nearby. Curiously, he winds up peering into it and musing into it, unaware that it's recording this snippet.]
Doesn't look at all like the bayou... Where did they go? [He looks down into the book.] And where did this book come from? My name's on it. A gift from the Professor? Something about this book seems really weird... But I should try to find the others first.
[And so... this blue, fuzz demon will be teleporting around in acrid puffs of smoke, trying to stick to treetops and following the river towards the village. Every now and then, he stops just to take another look at the book. There's got to be something he's missing. And are those voices he hears from this weird book?
And as he arrives at the village, he may wind up accidentally teleporting into one of several houses. Something just seems a little off about his power here, you know? Hope this blue demon-looking guy doesn't catch you off-guard, with the dramatic smoke puffs that follow him. He could even wind up in the item or clothing shop before meeting anyone he knows.]

[ Since, you know. Between bright pink talking ponies and mutant flying sheep, she's all surprised out for a while. ]
I may just be numb from all the other surprises. Electricity. Talking ponies. Other worlds. And so on.
action;
But... electricity? Seriously? That's surprising to you?
action;
We don't have it where I'm from. [ She's...not the sort of person to stand there while she talks, so she turns back towards the chalked tree and throws the hatchet again. When it lands dead center she goes to retrieve it, then goes back to line up again. ] You can see better by electric lights than torches, though. Which is...nice, I guess.

action;
You've only got a ways to go until you hit town. [ She points with the hatchet, figuring she might as well...tell him something useful.
Astrid is aces at small talk, right? ]
action;
action;
[ She is not the speech giver. ]
action;
Yeah, it's a good attitude to have. I don't think you know how relieving it is to meet someone who chooses to ask questions before throwing axes.
action;
[ GET IT STRAIGHT, KURT. >( ]
And that's...something I've been working on. [ Since. Dragons becoming friends and stuff. ]
action;
I'd say you're doing well so far.
action;
Yeah, well. I've got some friends who're a good influence, I guess.
action;
Friends are good. Friends are good!
action;
They are. [ amused eyebrow raising, but okay. ]
action;
I'm glad we agree on that, then.
action;
if it was a joke it was a pretty bad joke man ]
Your world has to be an interesting place. [ to say the least ]
action;
action;
action;
Definitely not. I'm kind of... the only one who really looks like this, aside from one or two close resemblances. Where I'm from, people look more like you. [A light attempt at a smile.] Just with less hatchets. And my people are... we're mutants. We have differences in our genes that make us not like normal humans in all kinds of different ways.
action;
Genes? [ w h a t ]
action;
Oh, right. It's a science term, for... uh, these little little building blocks of living life, which you get through your parents. Most of the time, it works out right, making another outstanding member of the same species. But when it winds up going different, something like this happens. [He says as he waves to himself.]
\action;
...You know what, I don't think I really need to know. [ Sounds like Hiccup's sort of thing. ]
action;
But, ah... The village, it's that way, no? [He points his tail in the direction she indicated earlier.]
action;
Yeah, that's the way. You can't miss it. ...Well, I suppose you could, depending on how far you can do that jumping thing, but it's pretty hard to miss.
action;
action;
Yeah, probably. See you, Kurt.
