[It's so weird for Kurt to think back just a month ago. At Malnosso World, they were all having fun again. It was easier to put aside all the trauma from Billy's spell when they could be just like teenagers again having fun in a theme park. But now, the signs of those fun times were fading away. Scott's gone. Logan's gone. And now, Kitty's gone, too. It feels like a wake-up call in some ways, now that he's passed a whole year here in Luceti. There's no longer a Wolverine to rely on and hide behind on the battlefield. And there's no Kitty here to make it feel like the innocent old days again. He has to be the man of the house now - he has to take responsibility, here and on the battlefield.

He's not ready to do away with his image inducer, yet. So he appears before the journals as his human-looking teen self. And he speaks as always with his German accent.]

Hey, everybody. It's Kurt Wagner. Looking forward to Thanksgiving, huh? I know I can't wait to do some gobbling of my own! It's just a shame there isn't a good game to watch with it. But... that's beside the point. The real reason I'm making this message? It's because I want to find a teacher who can teach me how to fight with swords. It seems like there's a lot of samurai types out there... but if it's possible, I'd like to learn from someone who knows a style that's more - you know. Swashbuckly! I mean, I've had a few fencing lessons in the past, but I think it's time I learn the real deal.

I think that's pretty much it. So uh, have a happy Thanksgiving? If you celebrate it!

[Kurt can be found at a few places throughout the day. At the item shop, he spends a bit of time helping out there, a little somberly. He tried to root out any CDs around that could help him with his new night club gig. He still puts in a shift at the coffee house too. Afterwards? He heads to the Battle Dome and tries to subject himself to Danger Room-like simulations in an attempt to start improving. It's only here that he shows his true blue form and teleporting powers.]

[Trunks was at the Battle Dome himself to train when he's taking a break from it for a couple of minutes. He could really go for something to eat also, that's what he's thinking in his head. Maybe he can get food and some coffee after a couple of more rounds of training. Though he does spot Kurt while he's taking his break, suddenly remembering his video from earlier.]

Oh hey, you're that guy I saw talking about Thanksgiving and sword fighting. I meant to contact you over the journals, but I guess here is fine too if you don't mind talking.

[Luckily Kurt had managed to put his image inducer on before leaving his training room.]

Guilty as charged. [He confirms with a nod.] So are you here to talk turkey, swords, or all of the above?

All of the above if you don't mind. I've never heard of Thanksgiving before and I might know someone who could train you with the sword.

[The battle dome was at least entertaining, he could put himself in dangerous situations, it was a great cure to all the boredom around this place. He had even begun working on some of his own simulations which he thought were pretty good. Well, by good he of course meant extremely dangerous and difficult at the same time as being wacky.

When Kurt pops out from one his danger room simulations Deadpool approaches, weapons in hand]

You mentioned you wanted to learn how to do the dance of the hack and slash? No time like the present, Blue.

[He may have forgotten people tend to like a breather after avoiding danger]

[Kurt gapes at the sight. Did he really wind up trading Wolverine in for his more deranged friend?]

You know, there is also the time like 'maybe sometime later'.

[At least Deadpool knows the truth about him, so he doesn't see the need to turn his image inducer back on.]

[Rogue only stops in briefly in the Item Shop today; it's a day of training with her and Loki, working her powers. It's a relief to know that even if she hasn't had any official help come in with the interviews, at least Kurt is willing to put in some time. She finds him while he's stacking something. It seems like they always have to be stacking something.]

[It's always something. Right now, it's tissue boxes of all things. He supposes that with everything that goes down around here, maybe this surplus of tissues was a kindness.

He turns towards Rogue with a light smile.]

Hey yourself. It's pretty quiet today, boss.

[She looks at the tissues for a moment.]

Looks like we're stockin' up for cold season.

[She's been doing fencing for most of her life. And even though the bow is her preferred weapon, Kate's still pretty damn good with a sword.

[ It's usually Rogue here in the item shop, so seeing him stocking again as he went in... well okay he's gotten more used to it. But he's out and about having slept way too much until now ]

[Strolling through the front door of the item shop, Remy glanced over the items on the shelves, pausing momentarily to eye up a pair of sunglasses before popping them onto his face. Stuffing his hands back into the pockets of his trench coat he continued his slow pace through the store.]

[Catching sight of Kurt, he offered a bit of a grin.] Bonjour Bleu, or, not so blue in this case, hein?

[He startles a bit at that. He's never ready to suddenly meet Gambit.]

Gambit! [He exclaims as he whirls around to face him.] I'm - it's just an image inducer!
