Fifth Bamf [Action/Voice] Dated to the 14th
[Action]
[There's a few things on Kurt's mind: the portal project that would be going through the next day. The aftermath of that Valentines experiment. Missing his friends and his girlfriend. But one thing he realizes is that this could be his last day in Luceti. Why not make a good last impression?
So he's tinkered with his image inducer. As he walks around today, he looks like a human, but one who's built with an absurd amount of muscles. And he managed to find the right setting to make it look like he has a tattoo on one arm, one of an anchor.
He spends most of his time indoors in order to show off as much as possible - at the Dome, the item shop, the barracks... often pretending to work out. And he'll invite anyone over for a closer look. Things will just go awry if anyone tries to feel the pecs which are actually furry. Plus that image inducer isn't very reliable... Who knows when it will go wrong and make him look even weirder?]
[Voice]
[Still, he knows the facts. He misses his girlfriend, Amanda. It's been months since he's been separated from her by this place, and last month that experiment made him "cheat" on her with his friend. He can't help but ask about her - knowing he could be facing her again so soon. Or... if the portal didn't work, he could be stuck here even longer without her. So he addressed the journals.]
Hey... everyone? I've kind of got a question. For anyone who - you know, has someone back home. What do you do when you're apart from them for so long? How do you... deal with it?

[Unhelpful forever.]
voice;
So what if I am? Doesn't everyone here feel that, every now and then? [With that logic, he doesn't think he has much to be ashamed of.]
voice;
Oooh, aren't we a little touchy? It merely seems strange, given what shall be happening shortly. This entire conversation may be useless.
Unless there is something you'd rather not face when you go home? Hm~?

[This is Calhoun, being oddly optimistic. And possibly not too helpful. But she's feeling a bit guilty over last month as well, so she'll actually live up to her good
guygal role for a change.]But remember, kid. Anyone can show up here, when they open up those New Feather floodgates. You might not be waiting around too long.

By not thinking about them. Find something to distract myself and keep me moving. Admittedly, as a kid, that came out in ways the police didn't much like, but what you going to do?
no subject
I don't know if I'd go that far... but I do have some things to keep me busy already. [Mostly Danger Room training.] But I mean... what if it's someone like a girlfriend? Is it really okay to you know, not think about her?

Nice tattoo you got there.

Teddy's in the item shop now, just looking at things when - whoooa that is an absurd amount of muscles. He kind of thinks there's no way someone can look like that, unless they just packed themselves steroids or this person is a lot older than they look.
While Kurt's looking away, Teddy studies his build, his height, his posture. And when he's in Kurt's field of vision, the other boy won't find Teddy, but what looks like an exact copy of Kurt himself, muscle bound and everything, picking up objects experimentally. Yeah, no, he doesn't see how moving is considered easy like this.]

Uh... Hey there!

"Forgot somethin'?"
And she threw a can of spinach towards his head. Head's up, Kurt!

The catch may have succeeded if he accounted for the fact that his hands were not actually that huge. As it was, the can flew threw the holoed-portion of his hand and then a holo-pec to hit his much wimpier real one.
"What's the big idea?" he moaned as he lifted the can, as obvious as the answer was.

Heh... Well, I guess you just gotta tought it, yeah? You can be without your friends for a while in a place like this. But, uh... at least you can find lots of new and... unusual friends in these parts.
