Second Bamf [Video] Backdated to the 21st
[The video feed shows Kurt Wagner, seemingly normal teen boy with a German accent, sitting at a couch at House 16 and nervously trying to look into the screen. There's some huffing and occasional barking heard offscreen.]
Hello, everyone. I'm Kurt Wagner, and this is my... book? I figured I'm past due for this whole introduction thing, and I've got a few things to say. To start things, I should say that I can't help but notice that a few of you have been surprised to see me around, because - because you know me. I know that I've been here before in the past, but... I don't remember any of it. And I'm sorry for that. If you'd still like to be friends with me... you are free to contact me. [And he remembers how some people seemed very familiar with his real form.] Might as well be done privately!
And aw man... who else is excited for American Thanksgiving tomorrow? I feel kind of lucky that back home I get to celebrate both the German and American Thanksgivings. Maybe here I'll just eat for both! There's a lot of differences between them, but the common factor's usually delicious, delicious turkey! Can't wait to gobble some up - I'd be really thankful if anyone can hook me up with a well-done bird!
Oh - and more thing! [He holds the journal out to reveal a St. Bernard calmly panting at his feet. Every now and then, it raises its paw to idly swat at seemingly thin air. A camouflaged tail makes for some good entertainment, it seems.] I found this fellow outside earlier. I don't really know how this kind of thing works around here, but does he belong to anyone? He seems nice! But I don't think I can keep him...
Anyway... have a happy Thanksgiving, friends!

Wh- Kurt?
[Holy crap, he's not fuzzy...!]
[voice]
Billy! How is it going, my brother?
[voice]
Things... are going good. Uh. You look... different?
[voice]
Right.
I'll have to be explaining something to you.
[voice]
[He'd hate to push the guy into it, but- sheesh. Talk about sudden surprises.]

The concept of Thanksgiving has now been explained to me. It sounds like a perfectly nice feast day if you like that sort of thing.

I'm sure I've never had a dog like him before! You mean how he doesn't have wings? Yeah, that almost made me think he came from here. You have a horse? What do you need that for?
I guess that saves me some explanation! But I mean, who doesn't like an excuse for a good feast day?
-Kurt Wagner

Asking me what my horse is for would be a bit like asking someone, "Oh, you have a little brother? What do you need that for?" Though one might ride as a diversion around here. You can ask Rogue about that.
I was always more interested in dancing than feasting on feast days. It sounds as if this "Thanksgiving" rather lacks that.

A future dog? That would be really odd. And I'd expect him to come with a jetpack, or some lasers.
You make a good argument. Collecting hobbies seems to be the way to go around here.
Dancing is good, too. It's not exactly part of the holiday, but no one would stop you from adding it in. Of course, most might be too stuffed to join in.

It is a way to pass the time. Better than sitting around and dreading what our captors shall do to us next.
Always a hazard at feasts, that. It is an academic question at any rate. I shall not be at one of these feasts, I think. Though do let me know later if you observe dancing at whichever one you might go to.
