Sixth Bamf [Voice/Action] Dated to 25th

[Voice]

Hey, it's your homeboy Kurt here. Er, I mean... hey, Luceti. I'm just wondering. In whatever times or worlds you all come from, what is it that you do and say to be hip and cool? Just... curious, you know.

[It might also have to do with Billy giving him a wake-up call about his "lingo".]

[Action]

[Primarily for New Feathers or anyone who's occupying any house or apartment that was vacant within the last few months. Because there's an understanding in the house; to keep Rogue from complaining about fuzz in the shower drain, Kurt winds up teleporting into vacant houses and apartments to take showers.

So you may find an unexpected fuzzy man using your bathroom, unaware that someone's living there now. Can he flip his holo-watch on in time to hide his real form?

Otherwise at different points of the day, he can be found at the Battle Dome for morning training or at the item shop helping around.]

I just do whatever feels natural. [And she happens to like Robin's version of English, so hush Artemis.]

I think its when people try too hard that it gets uncool. Especially when they're trying to force themselves to be something they're not just to try and be popular.

Yeah, exactly. And that homeboy sounded a little bit forced to me. Maybe it's time to retire it?

[Because yeah, no one talks like that anymore, Kurt. At least not in Zatanna's world.]
noitatnacni: (and next I'll bring world peace)

You mean aside from the thing you just said? [Zatanna laughs a little; it doesn’t bother her any, but since it seems to worry Kurt, she’ll set him free from the burden of using tired out language.]

Don’t try to through in words because they’re trendy. Just talk like you normally would. I have a friend who takes the prefixes off words sometimes. It’s quirky, but it’s also cool, because he likes doing it. Not because he’s trying to fit in or be accepted.

So like he’d say? Stay whelmed.
noitatnacni: (trust me on this)

Whelmed is a pretty good place to be. [Now let’s see if he’s learned the lesson; Zatanna will be listening to see if he starts throwing around words without their prefixes.]
noitatnacni: (i don't mind)

Hmm. I don't think that one quite works. Like I said, don't try and force it--you need to find your own thing.
